Great game, several good scoring chances on both sides. I had a feeling it would be a one goal win for Argentina as both teams are strong defensively. Both have great passing and tactical offense but those Argentinians (especially Messi) will nail your coffin shut if you leave even a crack open in your defense, which Nigeria did a few times. On that one scoring rush that produced the goal, Nigeria's goal tender should have stayed on his line and made the attacker shoot.
On a side note, what was with those fans? Was it a group of fans (Nigerian? Argentinian?) who were blowing their trumpets and playing the same song over and over and over and over and over through the entire 96 minutes of the match? I mean the same piece of a song, repeated at least a thousand times. I don't know how the players put up with that, at the end there I was praying someone would lob tear gas at those responsible. :D
