Get out and see the world now while you can man. Someday you'll be 30 or 40 plus... have a few kids and a wife... and you won't have the luxury of dropping everything and exploring the world and meeting new people.
Concerning your girl... well I know this is callous but there are over 6 billion people in the world. You'll meet another one thats great in the future.
