Religion is just too good of a tool to control people, that is what it is. Its like you have to lie to people to get their attention.

I guess it works for some people, and maybe they need it for comfort. I'm just not sure what I can believe yet myself. I used to go to church. I often wondered if many others were there searching and faking it and why was it so hard for me to just believe it. I may be on a spiritual journey for the rest of my life, never reaching a destination or discovering truth.. or maybe then it was there all along.
