I've been in the gym ever since......And I don't care what people say about the "technique" of Judo...When you're in a tournament, you need stamina and MUSCLE......."technique" only works if the other person isn't expecting you to put a judo move on them.....I know personally that it's damn near impossible to throw me in a sparring session and I don't care what belt you are...

The excercise you are talking about sounds like burpees. I usually jump when standing back up as highh as possible. And yes Bro, it's a fucking bitch.
I agree on the technique, it always looks pretty in practice, but in tourneys, its all about who's the stronger PLUS technique. Get back in the saddle soon man!
