There are no good reasons for not having your dog fixed. Whatever your reason is, I have heard it a million times before. It's irrelevant to me which is why I have never asked. Get over it. Judging by your demeanor I am going to go with the old, tired "he's AKC registered and he's from a champion bloodline" excuse. I hear that one a lot.
My second guess is that your mother is worried that it will affect his libido and he won't find her sexy anymore.
