As mayor, left her hometown in debt after an eminent-domain fiasco to build a sports center...has requested $200 million in earmarks for 2009...was for the Bridge to Nowhere when campaigning in Ketchikan but changed her mind when it became politically expedient...only met with McCain once before he offered her the job...no foreign policy experience whatsoever.
I don't need to hear about pregnant daughters or former ties with secessionists. I've heard enough. McCain made his first "executive decision", and it was a colossal failure. I cannot justify voting for someone who was so reckless in picking someone to be one 72-year-old heartbeat away from the highest office in the land. Of all the Republicans he met in 26 years of being a Senator, and campaigning around the country for 18 months, this is the one he picked? I cannot vote for that kind of judgement.
Palin may wind up being fine - it's her new boss that is leaving a lot to be desired. I used to think whoever replaced Bush, we'd be better off. Now I'm not so sure.
