I actually noticed that as well when I first heard her say it and I thought it was a bit odd to say. Now it seems more understandable as to why she said it like that.
It's pretty damn clear this women was a last min pick and I honestly can't understand why. McCain has been the known Republican front runner for a long time. Why on earth would he force himself into a last min pick for his VP. This kind of lack of proper decision making just shows what he would be like in the oval office.
It's pretty fucking scary if you think about it and the fact he's already blundered the most important decision up to this point for the bid to the white House.
