The daughter who is pregnant is 17. She's almost 18. This is a non issue really, the girl is almost an adult and there is nothing wrong with her mom supporting her through this rough time. Better than some parents I've known who kick their teen daughters out of the house for getting preg. It's 2008, a teen pregnancy is not shocking anymore. She's not going to drop out, it's just not that big of a damn deal.
