I think the Dems wanted to get a feel for Palin before knowing how to handle her. Now they know where she's coming from. The fact checking will begin and the responses forthcoming.
Jeffrey Toobin on CNN just said that Palin's claim of vetoing the infamous "bridge to nowhere" was something that she was actually in favor of, not opposed, like she claimed.
Many debatable points - the claim that Obama will raise taxes when he's actually going to lower them for ~100 million Americans, only increase for top 2%.
The claim that we're "winning" the war in Iraq or that it's "winning" is just within reach. I think anybody who thinks that place will ever be "won" is in for a surprise.
They ignored precisely how they will be different in policy from the Bush admin - only rhetoric that they'll shake things up, when McCain has been in favor with Bush 95% of the time. They ignored social positions/values like abortion, creationism, etc. Romney attempted to make the point that government and Supreme Court right now is largely Liberal and failed at it, because it's obviously not the case.
