Its funny how very few (one maybe) people mentioned education. You said you were fine where you are and the people you knew while you were in college. I think a good temporary solution would be to continue college? Why not? You never said you didn't like school or the work involved. Just because your degree is finished doesn't mean you HAVE to be done.
