Leave the domain business to me & i'll leave the envious, 2-post, 2-paragraph critical forum posts 'convincing me' it's not 'premium' to you.
Stop trying to sound educated about domains, regurgitating old threads-
I've sold single domains for your annual income.

Ya, um . . . right.
I think you understand the fact that it is a plural of a rarely used word. Do you? See that it is a plural version?
Well SURPRISE - - - The plural is NEVER used.
I hope you can understand that, right?
I'VE NEVER HEARD ANYBODY SAY "DUDES"!!!!!
Maybe once in my life, and that ain't good when a word is NEVER used.
Like I said, Dude.com is definitely a premium type name. But dudes.com-nah.
Dudes.com lack of premium status can be determined by evidence. Evidence can support your claim. The pure type-in traffic that dudes.com receives will be a perfect indicator as to the popularity/use of that word. Not link traffic, not promotional or advertisement driven "type-in" traffic, JUST COUNT THE ABSOLUTE PURE TYPE-IN TRAFFIC generated by the name (itself). This should be a constant number. It will be the same this year as it was last year, as it was the year before that (whatever the number).
What is the daily average number of unprompted unique daily type-in visitors? That will tell you if the name is on peoples mind. That is what makes a name "premium." Not because it is a plural of a decent domain name.
But you obviously knew all of this. You are just angry someone called you on your bs claim of "premium" status for dudes.com.
You are the SALESMAN! Obviously you want to think of it as "premium."
dudes?
It is an akward word.
If you can't see that, I highly doubt you've ever sold a domain name, let alone one in the 6 figure area.
Prove me wrong about my guess that dudes just isn't used all that much as a word.
Post average daily unique type in vistors. That is the ONLY way you can convice anybody that "dudes.com" is actually "premium" - you are just the salesman, you calling it premium means JACK SHIT!
