OK guys, here are a couple of good ideas and I will definitely consider them in developing the script.
About that search button for web-cams, that could make subject for a plug-in. The script will have plug-ins.
About that favorite system, I had that in mind, but it is good to know that somebody is sustaining the idea. Will do!
