The one item you have listed that I don't agree with is the full trial.
Members can fuck over a site with their trials, so I think there is a happy medium with trial members areas.
I have seen some trial members areas that are horrible, they offer no free content or the minute you click on anything you are upgraded.
However done right, I think that trial members areas can benefit program while still not robbing the surfer.
