Could it be that you or your ISP is using a proxy? I had a feature on HotPinkLinks.com enabled that didn't allow signups through a proxy. But I've disabled that for now, seems as if the cheaters don't hit my sites as hard anymore as they did a few months ago, so that#s no longer needed.
