haha. Don't be too comfortable... they've only done slow=speed test runs since yesterday. They haven't even turned on the pulse to send the protons in the opposite direction, so there can be no collision yet. They reckon protons in both directions and at max speed by november, then collide them dec/jan.
In any case, if a news channel is reporting this could end the world (who is that, fox?) then it's just dumb. The boffins are recreating
parts of the big bang - ie high speed collision between protons. Not the frikken big bang itself.
