i'm not saying every parent knows everything. i am saying that a 16 year old seeing a tv show and wanting to die as a result is FAR from reasonable behavior... there is no possible way in hell that people couldn't see this was a person that was vulnerable and troubled and had issues. a kid doesn't just kill themselves... a kid kills themselves while everyone around them is in denial about how deeply distressed the kid is.
