Kerry registered more first time voters than any candidate in history (Obama has or will top that number in this election though) and on election day most of them didn't vote. Bill Clinton was able to activate the far left and get the young people to the polls and he rode them to victory. If Obama can do that he wins. It is that simple. If he can't it will be much closer.

More young people voted than ever and it will be an even bigger record this year. Not only did more young people vote in 2004 their total numbers rivaled that of the over 65 age group. The over 65 age group is THE ONLY age group McCain is winning. I would wager on more young votes than over 65 this year, Obama wins by a mile.
