As someone who doesn't appreciate sports or the value they provide, it really is the same. I think porn should adopt a similar model as mainstream entertainment - use the pictures and video to lure people in at a lower cost but the value comes from getting to meet the performer in person and watching it LIVE, or some other kind of LIVE action. Now I promote solo girls mostly, so this could be like a world tour, with the girl visiting every state and having a session snapped where people could drop in and watch the action.
Wanna talk about "value add" and making the subscription model back to the glory days - then this kind of jump is what is needed.
