Running backs are primarily overrated. There have been few backs in history that I would consider 'must-haves' that could perform in a lot of different offenses, with less than stellar blocking schemes. Bo Jackson and Barry Sanders are two of them.
LT was the result of great blocking, look at Turner's numbers when LT would go out of games. Same with Larry Johnson, look what Priest Holmes did before him. Go look over the Denver running back history.
Trading him with high-market value would have been wise. Hell, Sproles is likely just fine to fill the role, he's all of 180lbs.
I know I am in the minority, but the facts are facts.
