I only watched the first half (recorded the second), but I'd have to say Obama. He was better (if only slightly) at answering directly about things such as how the bailout package will improve the situation for the average american (in theory).
Mccain seems more and more creepy to me with every appearance. He tries too hard to connect to people, but it's awkward. There was a moment where he was answering one womans question and he either touched her, or put his arm on her chair, and she stiffened noticeably, and it felt like an out of touch high school guidance conslor trying to connect to a student. I sort of feel like he's trying to be in touch with average person, but really has a sense of entitlement and maybe even a hint of resentment that it's not a given that he's getting the presidency.
