why is it that people still think the republicans are small government when they have consistently increased spending and the size of government since Reagan? if the republicans actually did what they said they were going to do, i would support them.

yes, perhaps obama will intervene in markets etc. yes this sucks and is socialism... but at least he isnt going to pretend to be a small government/fiscal conservative (like bush and reagan pretended).
