"Hustler.com" and it gets clicked 1,000 times a day with a 1/200 ratio. That's 5 sales a day.
2. Now imagine if you play with that link a bit and make it a little more blind so it's says "Hustler Hardcore Sex Movies". Because it is more blind and mentions movies you now you get 3,000 clicks daily instead but the ratio goes double to 1/400. This version will get you 7.5 sales a day.

It's all a game of maximizing your traffic and getting the most sales with a decent ratio WITHOUT over focusing on the raio part.
You can't bring a ratio to the bank.

fair enough... BUT
it's easier to get traffic then it is to get low conversion ratios,
after all you can buy traffic from many sources.....but you can't buy
conversion ratios can you ? ...didn't think so !
If you can make the same $$ with less traffic then that has to be good for you!
less traffic = less costs ( buying traffic , BW etc..)
