It is my thought that a webmaster will make more money going with RevShare over PPS on a site that updates at least every 10 days, weekly or even more often.
On certain sites that haven't been updated in months, then you're certainly better off going with PPS cuz the surfer is going to cancel pretty much right away.
Will the surfer come back to your blog and buy another membership if they joined a site you sold them on and then got no updates?
Try RevShare. Less upfront. More on the back end. Find some of the threads in here where guys have had members renewing for 5+ years. Even longer. Do the math.
Of course, my thoughts benefit my own program so take from this what you will. I'm sure a PPS owner would argue another side and that's fine.
My other question is do you want "true amateur" sites. Or more "reality" type sites. There aren't a lot of true amateur paysites offering PPS. The "amateur" sites offering PPS typically put something on the site about it being amateur but it's just everyday porn girls pretending to be amateurs. So, consider your traffic. Do your surfers want "real amateur" or "fake amateur." Either one is fine. You just have to figure out what the surfers you're attacting want and go 100% one way or the other. That's what I've found anyway.
