yea, its true, the BMW M5 sets the bar when it comes to sports sedans. And while the Cadillac CTS-V is just making its way on to showroom floors, the M5 is well on its way out and is getting ready for a replacement M5. Caddy can enjoy hardly beating the M5 on the Nurburgring for a lil longer, then its another 6 years of being smoked by the benchmark M5.
with all that said, the M5 is NOT a supercar... so the caddy, even slightly topping the current M5, dosnt make it a supercar.
