they need to fix the law though. Punishing you before your day in court is not right. (car impounded right off the bat)
One person was on the news saying he was charged with street racing for changing lanes without signalling. Of course he won in court, but he was already penalized even though he was 100% innocent. They've given the cops too much power with this law and they are messing things up and charging people that shouldn't be charged. I think they said 60% of those charged end up with a lesser sentence or get off totally.
They can even charge you with street racing just for spinning your tires accidentally.
They need to keep it for people doing 50k over the limit and that's it. And give you your day in court before handing out punishments.
