I've been on a bulking diet for the last 6 months or so. Roughly $120 for just myself, and that's me shopping like a cheapskate.
To give you an idea, I eat 6-7 meals a day. I go shopping twice a week, I usually get lean chicken in bulk, lean steak in bulk, beef jerky, tons of canned tuna, swiss/cottage cheese, just a couple single frozen meal dinners, brown rice, wheat bread, precooked chicken fillets from the deli, salmon or tuna steaks, milk, fresh veggies, fruits, flax seeds and oats.
That doesn't include the money I spend on supplements.

Preworkout supps every month that cost me about $50, casein / whey protien shakes every 2 weeks cost about another $50, amino acid matrix, l glut, glucosamine cost another $50 bucks or so a month.
Does that answer your question? My diet is fucking expensive.
