No. Nothing at all wrong with them making a profit. Also yes the 12% was fairly low, then again it wasn't our fault he hit the city main with his backhoe and had to pay for it. I refused to let them pass the cost of that onto me. I also make damn sure that any contractor, sub, or such working on my property agrees to itemized invoices supplied at the end of any job. No problem paying whatever hourly rate or whatever was agreed on though.
