I don't see nothing wrong with that.
Imagine if a muslin from Iran travels to you country and beat some woman near to death only because she flirted with him. In his country, nothing would happen. In the UK/US, he would go to jail for a long time.
Different countries, different cultures, different laws. You have to respect the laws of the country you're visiting. Period.
