Shots fired at WKU..
This is something that you never expect to hear and I just did on the local news at Western Kentucky University where my son is a freshman. We were able to get ahold of him pretty quickly and he informed us that an alarm was sounded all over campus and text messages were sent to students and admin alike to find shelter.
Right now, no one seems to know what is going on except that there have been armed men reported on campus and there have been shots fired not to far from my sons dorm. But they do have police guarding the entrances to each of the dorms. So a small sigh but I won't feel good until its all over with. So right now, its a waiting game.
