Right now she uses the MacBook Pro, she gave up an Npower hand built laptop. Which is 4 years older, and kicks its ass, and runs windows.
The iMac is just stupid. The same priced PC is 2 times the power if you can hand build your boxes. Any PC for the same price has faster and larger drives, faster and more ram, about the same processor, and twice the video acceleration.
Only benefit of the Mac over MC, is out of the box. I will give it up to Mac for that, I have never purchased or built a PC that in 15 minutes after opening the box, I was on the Internet.
