Yeah, that's big news here in Chicago, the murder capitol of America by the way. It seems the suspect is her sister's husband who has a record including attempted murder, carjacking, and some other violent crimes.
The problem here is all the cops hate the new superintendent or whatever their leader is called so they are slacking off and crime is rising. It was bad before, so bad that my friend got his car stolen and we couldn't even get a cop to come out. They just hung up on us and after telling us to go to a police station. Now it's even worse. Chicago is a shithole. I live in a suburb outside the city where I can pretty much leave my car unlocked as well as my front door, but I hate going into the city.
