i tend to agree with your comments in the other thread, i don't see much difference between the 2.

especially when considering the ridiculous amounts of money they've raised to campaign and the consequential favors owed, how bloated our entire government is, how patched up our tax system is, etc and most importantly, how government tends to benefit big business more than people.

the average american is so far removed from what goes on inside the beltway that i find it virtually impossible to make an *informed* choice. i've always felt that local politics are where i can make a difference but fuck, with all the propositions and how poorly they are explained and how they are misrepresented and convoluted, at least in california, it's getting quite hard to make an informed choice at the local level these days.
