I don't know if he was #1, but the guy was the head of the Harvard Law Review. That's quite a remarkable feat. He also graduated with honors from the school. Every account from his time as head of the Harvard Law Review shows praise for how he did. In fact, the most praise came from conservatives in it who said he gave them a bigger voice than they had previously had.

Pretty amazing that people are trying to cut down a guy with a Harvard Law Degree who held one of the most prestigious positions a young law student can.
