We pronounce it different as both.
The G we pronounce like something dry is stuck in the back of our throath...Its not a soft spoken G.
Then we do pronounce the U in there. It sounds like we are in pain...aaaaauuuuuuw!
So I suggest you swallow some dust and nails to come close to pronouncing it right.
