Probably would be the same result nowadays if the cops came to a shoot in progress as back then unless you happened to get one asshole bible thumper who wanted to break your balls. But I tend to be very careful anyways to not draw scrutiny when I am filming just because I have so many consecutive years of mostly problem free production all over North America and elsewhere and I see no reason to take foolish risks and be cavalier about it.
