I wouldn't expect to see oil get all that much cheaper, especially since Iraq is a member of OPEC.
It would likely be cheaper than it currently is, but not by a huge amount.
In the long-term, oil will continue to rise in price since oil is being used up faster than it is being discovered. In other words, demand for oil rises every year, but the known reserves (supply) of oil isn't increasing to meet that demand.
