hmm i didnt say anything about car dependant society , explain to me why a mother can't not drive an suv, just the same as she can't smoke. Its pretty easy for both , she simply throws away the key / pack of smokes

exactly , a mother can choose to live in a polluted city driving and suv with slippery shoes possibly putting them at risk for disease and accidents , or she can choose not to, just the same as with smoking , the only difference is more people actually die from accidents and disease than from smoking
