you show me a "stand up", "top notch" upstanding member of the bro club... and i'll show you the laundry list of bullshit they simply haven't got called out for yet or been caught doing yet.
honesty has nothing to do with anything. a few years ago, i was finally forced to accept the fact that no matter how honest you want to be, you are simply putting yourself at a severe disadvantage to those who are going to do shady shit and do it at everyone's expense.
one simple fact is that this industry is highly disorganized and dysfunctional and full of self destructive, self serving, lazy people who gravitate to the point of least resistance like water.. then blame tube sites when it stops working.
it would be nice to see someone make positive changes and do the right thing for surfers, themselves and webmasters and the industry as a whole. but in my opinion, its naive to expect to not be punished for it.
