Try eating oats (porridge) for breakfast. Oats are a good source of soluble fibre, which helps carry the LDL (bad) cholesterol to the liver for removal. 1 bowl of porridge + 1 banana = 10 gm soluble fibre per day, which is enough to lower your cholesterol 10% in some cases.
