I will give DHTML a shot for sure, anything has to be better than javascript.

But my main problem is needing a clear simple method of hit tracking for not only things like traffic history, but also a clean method of tracking referral url's and sales from one traffic source to another using the same domain.

Any help would seriously be appreciated, trying to do things right from the ground up this time around.
