My grandfather used to sit in the yard in a lawn chair, and when a chicken would walk by he'd put his hand down like he had food and when one would walk up to him, he'd snatch it up by it's neck and swing it around twice and toss it's flopping, flapping dead body into the yard for my grandmother to go out and pluck for dinner that night.

He wouldn't do this every night of course, but he did it a lot.
