old story, but i never really liked it . why did the scorpion not just sting him before they even left the river, then he wouldnt die.
The moral of the story is supposed to be that you shouldnt trust a scorpion ( something dangerous ) just because he pretends to be nice, but then it ends with the scorpion dying, in real life the scorpion floats on your dead corpse until he finds another victim.,
heres a good one
a turkey and a cow were sitting in a farmers field one day when the turkey said to the cow
" i wish i could climb to the top of that tree "
the cow said " you could but you need extra nutrients, if you eat my crap you would be strong enough "
so the turkey eats some of the cows poo and climbs to the second branch of the tree, the next day he eats more and makes it to the third branch and so on until he finally reaches the top of the tree. At this point the farmer see's the turkey on the top of the tree and shoots him.
Moral of the story, you can get to the top on bullshit , but you can't stay there for long"
