A recession is 2 consectutive years of negative growth, A depression is the complete devaluation of the dollar.

I've seen economic crisis too, but they were fixed real fast by PRINTING MORE MONEY.

have you witnessed bank runs and banks going under before?
Have you noticed that dodge, gm and ford are asking for PENNIES compared to what the banks have recieved? and aren't getting it?

Do you not consider that they are pushing a depression forward?

a depression is a NATURAL FIX to a bloated economy..
Now, when you take a good look and see that we're starring at the same situations that started the great depression, add the fact that credit cards didn't even EXIST back then and that most people had ACTUAL money .. that was backed by ACTUAL GOLD ..
and that most people are living beyond their means via credit .. what happens when that credit is taken away?
If they wanted a depression, they would have let the big financial institutions fail.
