Not sure I understand your data. We're just spinning around ideas. I wouldn't expect to compete with the big boys at this stage of course or anything that looks commerical professional.
I'm playing with the ideas of indy/guerilla mainstream techniques. Not talking about using film of course.
I'm sure there's way more to it than what I'm thinking. I just know from experience in other areas, often someone does okay, even if accidentally, by not following pattern formulas. (at the same time I do agree there is a reason for experience and formula, otherwise everybody would just be doing whatever and having success.)
