Yes, they buy ours. SCORE Magazine, Naughty Neighbors, Leg Sex, Voluptuous, 18eighteen, 40Something, Newcummers, and XLGirls to name a few.

It's called the coffee table effect. That is, you can't just leave it on the coffee table, when people come over to visit. The ideal lifestyle magazine, is one you can leave on the coffee table and the girlfriend, mother in law, won't have an issue with you.

Jim, you said it, they have to cut back, and assign a much smaller staff to do the magazine.
The Brand has huge value. The cable portion has much more value then the magazine.

Playboy is way more competitive to Penthouse then anyone else. The issue you have today, with both Playboy and Penthouse, is Maxim, which you can leave on the coffee table.

You are right, it is a lifestyle mag, but as long as they need to be sold with a covered (black) PolyBag, instead of a clear bag like Maxim, their sales will keep declining. Playboy has great distribution, they had an even better distribution in the old days, but with more Mom and Pop shops closing, book stores, and Walmart opening up more stores, and not accepting adult magazines, it's simply hard to sell magazine. You can not get them infront of the viewer, the potential customer has to seek out your magazine.
We tried very hard to get into this market with
www.Lookergirls.com aka Looker Magazine, and didn't make it. Over a million $$$ down the drain.
