Mass human abductions by aliens are a common occurrence. Thought control device are implanted into unsuspecting citizens of Earth, which force the recipients to do things that they would normally never do. Examples of this process can be seen everywhere in society, you just have to know where to look. For instance - Do you really think people actually enjoy watching dumb TV shows, like Dancing with the Stars? No! They are forced to watch crappy shows like this by alien controllers, who are in cahoots with the advertisers. It's a brilliant plan really.
