I've said from back sometime in 2001 that GFY is like a huge vortex, not unlike that of a giant toilet in mid-flush. You either sink or swim here but really, who among us doesn't enjoy a good sit on the throne? I know I do, as is obvious with my 40k posts.
There was this other board though, years ago, where a lot of people including the board owner used to sit around bashing GFY and the people who post here. I posted in one of their little trashing threads and tried to explain just what the deal is with this board and was promptly jumped all over for it. (I was very diplomatic) ( :D ) I thought I was going to be banned. Not that it mattered much, that board lasted a year or two after that and then went out of business. What a surprise.
