i don't want to get in an arguement about that, but dialers cost millions in revenue. the regulations alone in germany destroyed lots of business opportunities cause a few abused the possibilities they had with dialers. not even speaking of people that definitely do not buy anything online anymore since they were screwed. and i know a couple of them from my times when i ran a computer biz and had to clean their PCs from all those dialers, toolbars, trojans, viruses and whatever

in total i could swear that the abuse of dialers has cost the industry more in revenue than a few people earned with them
