There are a few things I noticed and this applies to other things too but here are the mysteries that im sure the smart peeps on GFY will help me solve tonight.

It never fails that when the topic of one of the following comes up in any sort of crowd may it be on a message board may it be at some family function or maybe at some business get together it seems like the story told does not add up with the facts.

The topic of weight loss - Say the word weight loss and without fail everyone around you will have a secret or a solution or a trick to it, they say it with 110% confidence, "This works blah blah blah...." and lets not forget “their close friend lost 30lbs in a week” oh or the song of “I go up and down 30lbs very easily” yet you always seem to see them when they are on the upside. But the fact is if you walk in a crowded street and you look around how many people do you really see that are remotely in normal shape.

2. Stock market - say the word trading or day trading and everyone and their mother knows the trick and the how to make real money on the market, everyone knows the key to success and the guy who got in at something real low and made a killing and how if you do a+b it will = ton of money, yet seriously living in NY the capital of the stock market I have yet to bump into one single person that made a fortune on their own trading stocks (not counting hedge fund guys just talking about private guy with some etrade / tdameritrade account).

3. Casinos - Poker - Black Jack - say any of those words and bamn everyone got a secret and a trick and everyone has one of the following stories either a) they themselves went to the casino and where up $20,000 (some like to make it sound more real so they say $1500) and them bamn they lost it all, b) they saw a guy hit some big jackpot, c) they know someone that is a POKER expert he does it for a living and makes millions, im starting to think im very bad luck as nobody I know has ever made a fortune in a casino.

4. Credit cards - I think banks are lying, I dont think they are being honest about people not paying their credit cards, in over the years 99% of guys or girls I met sing the same song they say "I recently got done paying off my cards, I cut them all up and now I only have one STRICKLEY for emergencies" why the heck are we in a financial crisis and how the heck are banks still in business with everyone chopping their credit cards up and only using them for emergencies only.

I can go on and on on things that people say yet the facts are complete opposite, oh before I forget signups this past week have been better than ever.
