Nothing new. There are stories like this all over the place. Cheney was hired by Haliburton because of his connections in washington and he used those connections to make Haliburton and himself millions of dollars. Gore now sits on the board of Apple and is a senior advisor to Google. A lot of companies pay well placed politicians high up in their companies one those people have left office. Access is power and power is money.
